TREMITI LLC is a member of the Legal Referral Service’s panel of management employment lawyers of the New York City Bar Association.
TREMITI LLC actively represents its business clients before all representative State and Federal Agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York City Commission of Human Rights and before all State and Federal Courts.
On behalf of its business clients, TREMITI LLC recently obtained a favorable decision in a sex (pregnancy) discrimination case before the New York State Division of Human Rights, and successfully defended a claim for contributions, interest and penalties before the New York State Workers Compensation Board. TREMITI LLC also obtained a favorable settlement of a Section 8(a)(1) and 8(a) (3) case (alleged interference and discrimination as a result of union activities) before the National Labor Relations Board.
TREMITI LLC currently represents another of its business clients in a sex (pregnancy) discrimination case before the New York City Commission of Human Rights, and is defending a business client in an ERISA withdrawal liability case pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
TREMITI LLC is presently advising a unionized manufacturer regarding closure of its facility and possible attendant unfair labor practice charges and ERISA withdrawal liability issues.
TREMITI LLC continues to assist its business clients with employee handbook preparation, with contractual and severance agreement matters and with both non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service of the Department of Homeland Security.
