TREMITI LLC was formed in 2003 to offer business clients the benefit of several years of labor and employment law experience gained in private practice and in-house with major corporations. Within its core areas of practice, TREMITI LLC is prepared to assist its clients with issues as diverse as corporate litigation, litigation support, contracts, wrongful termination, business mergers and acquisitions and employee training.

Attorney Profile

Principal and founding member Joseph F. Tremiti has been an employment attorney for over 20 years, in both private practice and in-house with several major corporations, including 10 years as the lead employment and labor counsel with a New Jersey based Fortune 500 corporation.

Mr. Tremiti received a B.S. from Cornell University, a M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and Ohio and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Tremiti is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Labor and Employment Law and Alternate Dispute Resolution Sections) and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Small Law Firm Committee), including the Association’s Legal Referral Service and its panel of management employment attorneys.
